Green Boston!

(a lost draft post from long ago)

I think it's awesome when students and young people are involved in "greening" the city to prevent climate change.  It's even more awesome when they come from all over Boston to participate.  The part that is not so awesome when the people preaching sustainability and talking at young people, expecting them to be engaged, bring copious, even METRIC *** TONS of tiny, small packages of half & half, milk, BUTTER, jellies, and stirring straws and plates and cups and napkins and bowls... Thank you single-servings.  To think, these people were going to just throw it all away.  Good thing I am a closet hoarder and will take anything if it's free.
